Theri Hornich is a former professional hockey player in the Alps Hockey League and Austrian women’s national team. She used to work as a hockey coach for different club teams in Austria and in management/coaching for the women’s U-18 national team. She is also a TV commentator for ICE Hockey League in Austria and a sports scientist and clinical psychologist at a rehabilitation centre in Vienna.
Frisk Asker Hockey
Maximilian Pettersson played pro hockey in Norway for six years – at Frisk Asker and Ringerike Panthers. He obtained a bachelor's in sports management at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. After that, since 2020, he has worked at Frisk Asker as an assistant coach and since last year as a head of sports.
Santeri Hilli is a third-generation coach. He has worked as a coach for the past 15 years, from skating school level to the pros. Teams that he has worked with include Oulun Kärpät and Red Bull Salzburg, and he also he had a short stint in the US, where he worked at the USHL and triple-A level. He has had the privilege to work with multiple top NHL players, and in the past year he has also done some consulting for the video analysis software Nacsport.
A board-certified specialist in sports dietetics and co-founder of A4 Health, Jenna Stangland focusses her work in sports performance on integrating biology, nutritional sciences, and behaviour change to maximise athlete potential. A University of Minnesota grad with a bachelor of science degree in genetics and cell biology, and a minor in leadership, Jenna went on to obtain her master’s degree in clinical nutrition with an emphasis on sports nutrition from Ohio State University. During her graduate studies, she worked under the director of sports nutrition to consult with collegiate and recreational runners on enhancing iron absorption through food and improving bone health through nutritional strategising. Additionally, she worked in the medical center on pharmacology research for muscular dystrophy, which broadened her knowledge base of how molecular compounds can directly impact muscle breakdown and repair. She now serves as the director of performance nutrition for the Minnesota Wild hockey organisation and the director of nutrition for the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA team. She speaks nationally with sports medicine providers, orthopedic professionals, sports dietitians, coaches, parents, and athletes on the power of personalisation with food and the direct impact food can have on performance outcomes.
Rodney J. Paul is professor of sport management in the Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics at Syracuse University. He has a PhD from Clemson University in applied economics. He designed and is the director of the undergraduate sport analytics program, the first of its kind in the country. His research focusses on the economics and finance of sport including studies of betting markets, attendance, television ratings, and more.
Thibaud Chatel is the co-owner of NL Ice Data. He has been tracking hockey games for years now and worked as an analyst in France and Switzerland. He is a senior project manager in marketing research in his day job.
Cédric Ramqaj is the founder of NL Ice Data and works as an analyst in Switzerland's National League. He also built 5plusspieldauer, a DEL equivalent of NL Ice Data. He is working as a business analyst otherwise.
