Christoph Domke is a senior director and clean and smart mobility lead at FTI Consulting in London. 

He has more than 13 years’ experience advising companies and senior executives in the automotive, logistics, supplier, technology, energy, financial services, real estate, telecommunication, and startup industries. He has a deep understanding of emerging technologies in the transportation industry with a passion for a cleaner, sustainable, more efficient, and interconnected movement of goods and people.

He is a road freight transportation thought leader with particular digital freight brokerage expertise, connectivity, telematics, autonomous trucks and truck platooning, electric, hydrogen, and natural gas-powered commercial vehicles. 

Before joining FTI Consulting, Christoph was a director at KPMG and a founding member of their global Mobility 2030 team. Prior to that, he worked at Frost & Sullivan, IHS Markit, and BMW. 

In his capacity, Christoph is a regular speaker and panel moderator/participant at global conferences and contributor to business and industry press.

CEO and co-founder of Owl Autonomous Imaging, Chuck Gershman has over 30 years of technology experience in exec management, marketing, engineering, sales, and advising. A serial entrepreneur, he has been on the executive team of five startups, three of which he co-founded. He has successful exits with company sales to Intel and PMC-Sierra. While CEO, the GSA voted Bay Microsystems a finalist as the Most Respected Private Semi Company, and Bay was also recognised by Deliotte - SV Fast 50 (#15) and US Fast 500. Chuck was a finalist for CMP’s ACE award as High-Tech Executive of the Year and he was inducted into the Drexel University Engineering Alumni Circle of Distinction. He holds three US patents in processor architecture.

Dr. Dalong Li is team lead and product owner of machine learning at Stellantis. He co-authored the safety first for automated driving white paper and is currently working with a few colleagues from GM and Ford in developing guidelines for automotive AI/ML component specification. He earned a PhD degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. He has 20-plus US patents in areas of image processing, computer vision, and machine learning during his employment with HP, Motorola, Continental, and Stellantis.

Patrice is co-founder of Immervision, where he leads the engineering team, contributes to IP growth and the adoption of Immervision’s technology by global corporations. He has overseen the integration of wide-angle imaging technology in numerous industry verticals. Prior to Immervision, Patrice contributed to research in the robotic surgery field for INRIA. He is an IEEE Senior Member who has spoken at various conferences and co-authored multiple publications and patents. Patrice holds a master’s degree in image processing in computer graphics.

David Schie is the CEO of AIStorm, a Silicon Valley based analog AI startup. AIStorm is focused on bringing the advantages of its AI-in-sensor technology to the market, providing standard AI architectures without the requirement for digitizing vast amounts of input data. AIStorm delivers fully integrated solutions including sensors and AFE (e.g., LiDAR SPAD, SiPM, CIS, mirror driver, mirror, biasing, etc., as well as biometric and failure analysis AI solutions), which are provided as semi-custom solutions for its customers. Dr. Subrata Kundu is a senior manager of the R&D division at Hitachi America, Ltd. in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA. He leads a research team focussed on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving (AD), and connected services for future smart cities. Prior to working at Hitachi, Subrata worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Toyota Technological Institute and as a project assistant professor at the University of Tokyo in Japan. He holds a BSc degree in mechanical engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology in Bangladesh and master's and PhD degrees in robotics and intelligent systems from Saga University in Japan. His research interests include robotics, soft computing, and intelligent systems.

Hesham Eraqi is the Founding CTO and general manager of Nahdet Misr AI and an adjunct assistant professor at the computer science and engineering department at the American University in Cairo. He was a senior expert/director of AI and chief AI scientist at Valeo where he worked for 10 years and he has been a consultant for multiple AI companies in Egypt. He is an advisory board member with EdVentures. With more than 11 years of experience working in the machine learning and software development industries besides academia, his experience combines participating in several high-tech award-winning international mega-projects/products and conducting pure academic research. His international filed patents, papers, and book chapters are mainly in deep learning and computer vision.
Hesham received his BSc and MSc degrees in electronics and computer engineering from Cairo University and his PhD in computer science and engineering with highest honours and highest GPA in class with an award-winning thesis from AUC. He has conducted hundreds of industrial training hours worldwide and delivered 50-plus keynotes. He developed and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the top three universities in Egypt and with Udacity. He also advises 30-plus MSc and PhD theses and graduation theses. Hesham is the chairperson, guest editor, advisory board member, and program committee member in top venues in his area including NeurIPS/ICCV/ECCV workshops and AV Silicon Valley, and he is an active reviewer at 25-plus major international journals and conferences. His technical articles are viewed hundreds of thousands of times and his open-source contributions are downloaded tens of thousands of times.

As CTO of NNG, Martin Pfeifle is leading NNG’s innovation activities around Connected Navigation, Cloud, and ADAS applications. Before, Martin was leading Visteon’s environmental perception activities with a focus on sensor fusion. Martin and his team delivered the environment model that will be the basis for the decision-making of Visteon’s autonomous driving approach. Martin is also responsible for digital maps, localization, and positioning, working on all matters concerned with how the vehicle understands where it is and what is going on around it. With more than 40 patents to his name, Martin is an expert in NDS and ADAS databases and applications, as well as data mining and sensor fusion. He is based in Karlsruhe, Germany. Before joining Visteon, Martin worked at the universities of Munich and Heidelberg as a researcher and temporary professor in the area of data mining on spatial, temporal, and uncertain data. For more than 10 years, he has worked in the area of infotainment and ADAS for Continental and for HERE, the leading digital map provider.

Andrew Grant, UK

Andrew Grant is an AI thought leader and keynote speaker with 10-plus years of AI experience, having chaired UCL spinout Satalia for seven years (acquired by WPP plc) and then serving as senior director for AI at Imagination Technologies (3.5 years), creating the multi-core strategy and development for autonomous vehicles.

He joined Imagination in 2018 as a senior director, responsible for strategic business development in AI and building the partnership. Andrew advises customers on the impact of new and emerging technologies and how best to utilise neural networks in edge devices.

Prior to Imagination Technologies, Andrew ran spin-outs from UCL and CERN, chairing Satalia, an AI company based in London. He has also worked with UCL School of Management, WPP, and has completed innovation projects on the Future of Automotive, Aviation, Retail, and the IoT.

At British Telecom he held roles as CIO business, head of technology strategy, and head of marketing (as leader for the launch of broadband in the UK). 

He has a particular interest in autonomous vehicles, ADAS, and how AI can be used to create smarter IoT devices for vision, home, and robotics use cases. He's a frequent visitor to China and the ASEAN region, presenting keynotes in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Taipei, and other major cities.

Dr. Alexander Braun, DE

Alexander Braun received his diploma in physics with a focus on laser fluorescence spectroscopy from the University of Göttingen in 2001. His PhD research in quantum optics and quantum computers was carried out at the University of Hamburg, resulting in a doctorate from the University of Siegen in 2007. He started working as an optical designer for camera-based ADAS with the company Kostal, and later became responsible for the optical quality of the series mass production. Next, he became a professor of physics at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf in 2013, where he now researches optical metrology and optical models for simulation in the context of autonomous driving. He is a member of DPG, SPIE, IS&T, and VDI, participating in norming efforts at IEEE (P2020) and VDI (FA 8.13), and currently serves on the advisory board for the AutoSens conference and for the VDI Optical Technologies (Fachbeirat 8).
