About the AI Automotive Event

Artificial intelligence (AI) and self-driving cars are becoming complimentary subjects, and AI's role in the automotive industry is one of the trendiest topics now.

How is AI transforming the automotive industry?

  • We are at the starting point of exploring the full potential of AI in automotive; machine learning, data science, artificial neural networks, and text mining technologies have already proved their potential in other industries, and AI technology is expected to expand to many automotive applications within autonomous cars, advanced infotainment systems, and driver risk assessment
  • At this stage AI is being implemented for parking assistance, cruise control, and level 1 and 2 autonomous vehicles
  • The recent developments of smart automotive is heavily focussed on environmental perception. Radar, sensors, cameras, weather conditions, roadworks and other harsh environments are impacting driver's decision-making. A balanced combination of image and AI-based perception systems and the hybrid multi-sensor fusion-based approaches enable a highly accurate autonomous driving
  • The further development of autonomous cars will be centred around full delegation of all safety-related decisions to the vehicle itself
  • More collaborations, partnerships, and acquisitions are expected in the future across the automotive industry, and OEMs will be actively looking for new technologies providers in order to stay competitive

With the key players in the industry at the #VLAIauto we will discover the next generation AI for automated and self-driving cars. #VLAIauto is the spin-off of the 7th Automotive Sensors & Electronics #VLautoSE.

Join the experts at the AI Automotive Summit on April 26-27, 2022.

See you at #VLAIauto!
