He works as an associate professor for artificial intelligence at a Swiss university. He also contributes to various open source projects. He regularly speaks at international conferences including significant publications in the area of data mining, machine learning and Blockchain technologies. Recently, his latest book on Mastering Apache Spark V2.X has been published. Jari has a background in applied mathematics and before joining Nokia in 2007, he did financial simulation software, consulting and interest rate derivatives. Jari is married, has three children, and lives in Espoo, Finland.

Prior to joining SAP as the global leader for predictive analytics back in 2015, Sven served as the senior vice president for European field operations at MicroStrategy, his expertise encompassed enterprise analytics, mobile applications and BI platform solutions. Prior to MicroStrategy, Sven served in leadership roles at Aprimo, SAS Institute, SPSS Software and Teradata. At SAS and SPSS, Sven managed portfolios in advanced predictive analytics, industry framework as well as customer intelligence solutions. He brings over 20 years of international experience in enterprise applications to the benefit of SAP’s customers worldwide. Since 2017, Sven is responsible for the Analytics Global Center of Excellence in EMEA and MEE in representation of SAP’s end-to-end analytics line of business that consists of business intelligence, budgeting & planning and machine learning/predictive analytics. The Global Analytics CoE in the European theatre is responsible for strategic customer engagements, thought leadership, event support, demand generation and field enablement programs. Arnab is recognised as an Edelman Laureate by the prestigious Franz Edelman Committee/INFORMS for his contributions in the field of machine learning and applying it to the field of e-commerce/ online personalisation. Arnab is a regular author in the field of analytics, artificial intelligence and operations research in leading journals and magazines and driving the research partnerships on deep learning. Andrew has been with Atos since 1998 when he joined KPMG. Trained as an electrical and electronic engineer, prior to Atos, Andrew worked for 15 years at RS Components and was responsible for setting up their international division and their analytics & database marketing team in 1991. Since joining KPMG/Atos, Andrew has focused not on technology, but on driving business benefit from the use of technology. He has developed and led profitable BI, application development and oracle practices within the UK as well as driving business across the entire private sector for the SI service line. In 2013, Andrew took on the leadership of the program to secure investment from Atos & Siemens in big data. Successfully securing a substantial budget, Andrew then became lead for the design and build of the Industrial Data Analytics Framework Architecture and Platform, which was the catalyst for the creation of Atos Codex, the new Atos end to end offer in analytics and IOT as well as the joint GTM with Siemens around Mindsphere. Andrew has now taken on a further role to develop a team of global evangelists that are responsible for helping clients shape their thinking on all aspects of digital transformation particularly when it is empowered and enabled by advanced analytics.

Tom came in touch with BI at AT&T, where he was hired as a .NET developer. They started their first BI project, making him part of their team and through study and continuous improvement of his knowledge about the BI-stack, he quickly grew from being a modeler to BI analyst and coach for the ever-expanding BI team. After a year and a half, he left the company to become a BI solutions consultant at Toyota. During this project, he was responsible for the analysis and creation of a BI project from start to finish. By standardising the project model, it became the example for all the starting BI projects. It achieved great maintainability in the project and flexibility for management to visualise the company through data. Currently, he is working as the BI architect on the enterprise data warehouse at the national lottery in Belgium (where he is not divining a way to cheat and win the jackpot, obviously).
